Lee Poh Yi

Poh is a B.E.T. experienced in delivering academic programs, and social and behavioural intervention to children aged 3 to 8 who have varying abilities, needs, developmental and/or speech delays.

She is a proponent of collaborative teamwork and has worked closely with occupational and speech therapists to develop and implement fun and effective strategies to help children improve their motor skills, communication and self-regulation. Some of the tools used include oral motor exercises, picture exchange communication systems (PECs) and AAC devices.

Poh is passionate about working with children with special needs and believes that their unique abilities should not hinder their success. She recognizes that every child is unique and has their own way of learning. That’s why she has got lots of tricks up her sleeve and is ready to tailor her teaching methods to make sure every child gets the support they need to thrive.

And when a child makes progress, even the tiniest bit, she is always ready to celebrate with them because she knows every accomplishment counts!
